Palm Springs Indian Canyons Tour

Elvis' private quarters (his private bedroom that he kept for himself) is available for short-term rental or for special event rental. Today this actual former residence of Elvis is used as a private residence located at 845 W Chino Canyon, in the Chino Canyon area of Palm Springs.
Completely different from the Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway, this Palm Springs home was purchased by Elvis and Priscilla Presley on April 14, 1970, and the deed of trust included both of their names when this property was purchased. Public record of the deed shows ownership in both names. This is the only house in Palm Springs that Elvis actually owned.
Along with their two-year-old daughter, Lisa Marie, the Presley's moved into the only property they ever owned in Palm Springs, California on 845 W Chino Canyon Rd, Palm Springs, Ca 92262.
Although Elvis and Priscilla rented a smaller residence in Palm Springs known as the "Elvis Honeymoon Hideway" in Palm Springs for a short period of time in the late sixties and spent their first night of marriage in that leased property, the only home that bears the famous Presley name on a California Deed of Trust in Palm Springs is this Chino Canyon residence.
Today, this spacious 5,100 square foot mansion situated on nearly two prime Palm Springs acres located high up in a popular area of north Palm Springs, has been designated as an historic property. The O'Donnell House Tour

O'Donnell House tour guests will be ushered up the long up-hill driveway by carts and will be amazed by the incredible mountain views. Tour participants will enjoy a 90 min. tour, beginning with the Palm Springs area Native American lore and the arrival of John Guthrie McCallum in 1884. The tour will encompass the early days through to the current. The house is filled with beautiful original tiles and stonework. It is meticulously restored with all period furniture (1920's).
