Not As Perfect

"The jacuzzi needed to be remodeled it was too old it was falling apart and the water started to smell. the house had to many thermostats it seemed like it was not working because the house got to cold at night we could not turn the ac off. most of the outlets in the house were not working. we payed additional to get the pool heated but we did not know how to because the heating thermostat was hidden. The house was nice big and clean everything was organized. "

Review of Old Las Palmas Elegance

"We had a great experience at the home. The pool was nice and heated. The kitchen had plenty of room for the food/drinks we brought. There were plenty of dishes, pool towels, etc. for everyone. There was lots of space in the backyard, where we spent most of our time. The reservation team and the property managers were very quick to respond to emails and phone calls and they were very helpful. We had some issues getting into the property and they were resolved very quickly with a phone call. We also may have left some items and the team has promised to check and get back to us. "

A Comfortable House

"Las Palmas Elegance is definitely our favorite propertys to stay in in Palm Springs. Once there, we love heading down to Mr. Parker's Meridian Hotel for spa, drinks, brunch, dinners -- it's a great place. Ruth's Chris restaurant is a great steakhouse, and Koffi is our favorite coffee spot. If you're a plane enthusiast or a history buff, the WWII air museum is a great place to go. Lots of docents there, guys (and women) who actually flew those planes in war and can give you stories about their direct experience. Always informative and moving. The tram to the top of the mountain is great as well. My family and I have rented this house before and we really like it; it's a gorgeous house, with a great comfortable vibe. It's a great location, close to downtown areas, and with easy access to everywhere. Lots of good amenities; lots of sun, big kitchen (pretty well stocked with cooking/serving dishes, pans, etc.-- not always the experience in a rental house!) Attractive, comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms -- not to mention a great pool. Those are the things we loved. Everyone we talked to from reservations to assistance once we arrived were great. Even the guy who showed up to try to fix the spa was really nice. Our main issue is that the maintenance on the property in general seemed a little neglected. I wish it had been tested, given a thorough going over before we arrived so that we wouldn't have had to call and bother the property managers. "

""4 Stars" Quiet, spacious, well-furnished, well-equipped & convenient. With 13 of us staying together to celebrate an 80th birthday, we appreciated the roominess. We saw Palm Springs Follies for the first time and had an absolute ball. We certainly got our money's worth--a three hour very entertaining show. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Miro's Restaurant, which a friend who lives in the area recommended. "

Quiet, Peaceful Enjoyable Retreat

"We enjoyed the main living area. The looking out to the pool area was very relaxing. Repairs need to be made to master bath vertical blinds. I would also suggest having the plumbing checked out, tubs drain very poorly. Another suggestion would be to open the house a day before clients arrive, the rooms were very musty smelling. I would also say to advertise the rooms in the cassita as maids quarters. "
