The sprawling and spacious layout of this large Palm Springs home encompasses a beautifully landscaped courtyard featuring a large fountain and unique keyhole-shaped pool with attached Jacuzzi. This home was originally conceived by Hollywood producer Sydney Banks.

This Palm Springs vacation villa rental is located near the historic Racquet Club neighborhood, once known as Hollywood's playground during the silver screen's golden age.

The home is situated on a 17,000 square foot lot in a tranquil neighborhood. The architecture showcases large domed ceilings and keyhole shaped archways indicative of classic Moroccan features.

When you step through the front door of this stunning Palm Springs vacation property, you'll find yourself in a magnificent foyer with soaring high ceilings, a beautiful chandelier, and beautiful décor. A fantastic stone waterfall sits near the entryway providing soothing ambient sound at your arrival.

The kitchen is remarkable, with all new stainless steel appliances, modern cabinetry, and granite counter tops. This functional space is equipped with all the cooking utensils and appliances needed to accommodate a feast for your next family gathering.

Nearby the kitchen is a casual bistro table for informal dining, and just outside the kitchen is a covered breakfast nook where you can enjoy your morning coffee amidst beautiful mountain views. The formal dining area can comfortably seat larger groups for sharing meals together.

Sunken back beyond a floor-to-ceiling bookcase complete with fish tank is the plush family room. Furnished with comfortable leather sofas, chairs, and ottomans, you can relax and take in the 50" flat screen home entertainment system. Enjoy the cable television, DVD player, or your favorite CDs through the immersing surround sound speakers. Unique and stylish lanterns hang from above to add light and drama to the space.

Each of the 5 bedrooms has either a 37" or 42" television with accompanying DVD player. The entire property is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet, as well. Three of the bedroom suites lie just across the courtyard from the kitchen and living room, each with their own attached bathrooms. These bedrooms feature both a king and queen size bed in each. Domed ceilings house ceiling fans or chandeliers above the beds. Each bedroom's windows create a perfect picture frame to the gorgeous backyard space.

A central fountain greets you upon entering the courtyard in back, surrounded by flower beds and planters with vibrant foliage. The distinctive keyhole archways provide shaded seating areas all around the courtyard. Just a few steps beyond is the refreshing pool and Jacuzzi, shaped to reflect the architecture of the home.

Relax on one of the chaise lounges and listen as the water rushes down the spa's spillway and into the pool. Beautiful Vista Morocco

"Suggestions: More instructions on how to operate the spa and pool, plus better television in the common room. The property is a very attractive, very spread out complex of bedrooms with a common area in middle The proximity of pool and spa, with plenty of seating around, made it a perfect place to lay around with friends and enjoy a peaceful, beautiful weekend. The management was responsive to our calls and a few problems that arose, although I would say that it was a bit inconvenient to have to communicate with them so much. The settings for the pool & spa were a bit of a challenge to figure out, and clearer instructions would be advisable. Furthermore, people had difficulty operating the TV in the family room with sound. I would suggest more instructions on how to operate some of these things obviate the need to involve the management company would have been desirable. "

Like a Private Resort

"This house is beautiful. Like a mini resort. Four of the bedrooms have their own private doors and they do not connect to the rest of the house sort of like a really upscale resort/spa. All we needed was a massage therapist there. :) Hot tub was nice and big, spa tubs in four of the rooms. Every room has it's own bathroom. There were no fights over the shower. I would recommend if you are cooking for a lot of people to bring some larger pots because the dutch oven pot was not quite big enough for our stew. We had an awesome stay, nice and warm during the day, cool in the evening and the house was cool in the day and warm at night. Lovely. Loved that most of the bedrooms have private doors and bathrooms. It would be good to note that the room with the king bed has a powder room (we chose that room and didn't know til we got there). The house is beautiful, gorgeous decor and plenty of amenities. There was time to visit with our friends and simply relax and enjoy the hot tub. The rooms are quiet and well furnished. Beds extremely comfortable. Would love to come back here again. Great service. I managed to misplace my directions with the key code and Justin was awesome as was Angie in making the reservation. Would be nice to have some bigger pots and some plastic spatulas (pancake turners) so we can flip things w/o harming the teflon pans. Some grilling tools (metal spatulas) would be good too. "

Excellent Home! Excellent Service!

"Spend more time....we did not have enough time to totally enjoy the house! The layout was great for our large party. 9 beds was perfect. The house was in great shape. The Service Team was on the ball. Nate and Justin were on the ball. They did a great job! The only thing the house did not have was a community bathroom. One had to go into a bedroom to use the bathroom. Besides this, the house was perfect. Great neighborhood, privacy. Excellent home! Excellent Service! "

Cheapest 5 Star Resort Ever

"The layout of the home was outstanding. The home was beautifully appointed and showed like a model home. We were very comfortable having a large meeting in the dining room area. The kitchen was perfect for serving up a large dinner. We were absolutely taken with the entire home. Honestly, no suggestions to make the home better. The kitchen floor had epoxy paint which kept peeling on us but we noticed the patchwork done on floor, so apparently it's a quality issue with the floor paint. "
