Relaxing

"nice kitchen, living area, comfortable beds. Nice pool and yard area. Lots of utensils, etc... in the kitchen, lovely decor. pool heater is noisy and I suggest a TV in the main area. Fan in the kitchen needs repair, sliding door in the master bedroom are difficult to open and lamps are difficult to turn on/off. We had a great experience. The property managers were good, easy and responsive. "

Nice Pool

"The size of the lot and the layout of the house are very nice. House is nicely decorated. The size and layout of the pool and pool-deck are very nice. Lots of tiles in the pools are loose, the pool heater and pump are rather noisy. The master bath is small and outdated. Most area rugs in the house have stains and look dirty. Windows and sliding doors can't be securely locked and are very easy to open even when 'locked'. The airport gives a lot of noise in this area, but obviously that is not something that can be changed. Reservation and property management here were perfectly organised. "

Amazing Views and Decor - Mid Century Perfection

"We had never been to Palm Springs before, so were a bit nervous about doing an extended (6 week) rental just from the pictures. Our choice was fantastic. This Palm Springs house is a perfect example of mid century architecture, and has been decorated to reflect the era while still being extraordinarily comfortable. A great pool and hot tub with views of the mountain. It is a couple of miles away from town, which means it is a quiet oasis and gets sun later in the day before it hides behind the mountain. We either drove or rode our bikes into town for meals. It was great for small entertaining too - we had two other couples join us one of the weekends and there are three different places to sit as a group and still be comfortable. Oddly there is no TV except in the bedrooms, but you shouldn't be watching TV when you have Palm Springs at your doorstep. One nice add would be a desk - perhaps in the master bedroom for those of us who have to work from the road. In the back yard there is the tallest most prolific lemon tree I have ever seen. We made lemonade and whisky sours every single day just with the lemons that fell off in the wind. 1) It really needs a desk. You could move the tall dresser in the master bedroom and put one there (next to the en suite bathroom) 2) There are glass vases ALL over the property - in every room. Luckily we are all adults but even we were worried about breaking them. Also, it didn't leave us much room for ourselves to put things down. I would strongly urge the owners to put those in storage. 3) the sofa looks nice, but isn't really that comfortable nor in good condition. 4) The garbage disposal was not working. 5) The fan in the first bedroom (by the front door) is really loud(Thank you for your valuable comments; the garbage disposal was repaired and the fan has been serviced -The Property Management Team) . Everything was good. We did have to call about a garage door opener, and it would have been nice to know when to expect the pool guy or gardeners - it did feel like there was somebody on the property every day (tuesdays, wednesdays and fridays) and at random times, which was a bit of a nuisance. "
