Vintage Sweet Home in Palm Springs
"Great overall, would recommend. excellent service! The pool was very nice and overall the house was clean. The pool was very nice and overall the house was clean. the only thing wrong was the back bathroom was broken. we had to leave three days early but we really enjoyed our stay. Justin was a great guy excellent in customer service! "
Great Space and Property but Could Use...
"The beds are noisy and the whole place could use a facelift, although the original pieces of furnishings are well maintained. We loved the layout of the house and the property is amazing. We spent all day in and out of the pool which was lovely with a gorgeous view of the mountain. Space abounds with a great floorplan for groups. 100% recommendation. We love VPS. As always the staff at VPS is top drawer and very responsive to our needs. "

"The property needs more three-prong electrical outlets. The air conditioning is not consistent in all rooms. The jacuzzi heating is a bit confusing. The layout of the property was nice; We liked that the bedrooms were situated on opposite sides of the home. There was enough equipment, utensils, etc. for all guests. The home was a comfortable size for six people and the price was affordable. Online booking was very easy. Brian was a great property manager. He responded very quickly to our plumbing problem. "

"Better beds for the guests and a little more user friendly instructions about the pool heating would be helpful. We rented for a week from May 4 - 11, 2010. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the pool was great. Keeping it heated was a bit of a problem for the first two days but after that it was fine. The fresh citrus fruit (grapefruits and lemons) were great and we really enjoyed them every morning for breakfast. The beds were a little uncomfortable but we managed. We enjoyed the location and the proximity to downtown. The service team was excellent and we would be happy to book again through your service. "

The house was exactly what we expected in many ways, the pool was great for the kids and the house was spacious enough that everyone had their own room. The Location was great, nice neighborhood, close to downtown shopping. The property, garden, grass and pool are well kept. The wireless connection was a plus. The reservation team was excellent - perfect instructions and friendly service. The only conversations regarding property management were basic but handled and fixed extremely quickly and professionally - pool temp was initially too hot, and the dryer wasn't working. "

"Beautiful, modern, rustic, pictures & decor were fascinating - great place for our family & grandkids to meet. Loved the pool (especially since we come from Alaska) & the hot tub. My kids & grandkids will talk about the time there for a long time. It was good family time. No problems - if we did have a problem (ie) plumbing & shower leaking - we called & someone was there to fix it. "

And it felt a little tacky to be drinking from logo-emblazoned coffee cups. Investing a few hundred dollars at the Crate & Barrel outlet and Target's linen department for a more uniform "hotel-like" experience would better reflect the stature of the home. We loved the home's open great room that opened onto the pool. The heated pool was a godsend in dicey February weather - made all the difference. The vintage lamps were a nice touch. We'd absolutely recommend Vacation Palm Springs - we're looking forward to booking another property for next year. "
