Near Perfect Mid-Century House Get-Away

"The moment we drove up to Modern Style my partner and I realized that this house was something special. It looked even more spacious and better in person than it did in the pictures online. When we opened the front door and stepped inside we were hooked. The AC was on and we were greeted by cool air which was a pleasant relief from the scorching August heat outside. The backyard pool area was very private and wonderful. We spent most of our time around the pool. From lying in the hammock, to the outdoor living room and the outdoor dining room with the ceiling fan, to the decor and dramatic outdoor lighting around the pool area, everything was near perfect. My only reservations (and these are minor complaints) were the cookware in the kitchen and the water pressure in the master bath. Since we were the only two in the house, my partner and I slept in the master bedroom but showered in the 2nd bathroom. There was plenty of cookware but it was of insufficient size and quality. Since we drove to Palm Springs I will definately bring my own cookware the next time I come back. My partner is a fussy eater and neither he or I like restaurant food very much, so we tend to eat most of our meals at home. Other than these minor issues, we had a wonderful stay at Modern Style and we intend to return again and again. Instructions on how to turn on the TV and cable box in the living room. It's not intuitive like the bedroom tv's and if it doesn't work right it is confusing to operate. The reservation team was amazing. I realized that I couldn't make my reservation online and get the special summer deal that I wanted so I called the reservation number and I sopke to Adela. She was so helpful and responsive. Within a matter of a few minutes I had returned my completed contract to Adela via email and we were all confirmed for our stay. "

I'll Never Stay at a Hotel in Palm Springs Again

"The house was fantastic and exactly what I hoped it would be. The main problem when you're the person booking the vacation is hoping that the place that looks so amazing online is actually amazing in real life. Those fears were quickly whisked away as soon as I opened the front door. Everything about the house—from the midcentury styling and perfectly styled layout, to the warm pool outside—just made me smile and relax. And for the price, I'm not sure why anyone would ever stay in a hotel. I stayed here with one other couple for the same price as it would have cost us to stay at a hotel. I'm a fan. Sergio was extremely helpful and accommodating when it came to the booking and made the whole process incredibly easy. "

"We just spent an amazing week in Palm Springs in this wonderfully appointed home. It had all the comforts we needed, plus it was very clean and we felt at home instantly. Loved the way the backyard lit up at night and wish I could have stayed longer! The doors in this house are old, so they're very creaky and are a bit challenging to close... that would be my only feedback. ( The homeowner has been notified regard the doors, thank you for bringing this to our attention) "
