Felt Like Home

"The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for cooking in and we did that every night but one of our 6 night stay. Great pool in the backyard and a nice covered area, for when it got too hot to be in the sun. Lots of towels in the bathroom and for showering. Another bathroom would be great especially if you have full occupancy. We called when we arrived with a few issues and Nathan came right away and fixed everything very well. The house could use a pair of oven mitts. "

"Property was great. Very spacious and cozy. Enjoyed the outside very much. Just a couple things were damaged when we got there. We called and maintenance came out right away to fix. (bathroom door was off hinge) There was also threshold damage from foyer to living room. Great job from the Vacation Palm Springs team. "

Great Value!

"Great open living space, perfect for a small group. Marble floors really made this place "pop" and the pool was superb. There was some kind of strange coating in the bathtub within the en suite of the Master bedroom that started peeling away after a few showers. The portable ipod speaker battery does not work, ie. you have to have it plugged in at all times. The service? Absolutely perfect. Streamlined and straight-through process with no hassle at all. You guys seem to have this down to an art. "

Orange Splash, Honest Feedback

"We liked the furnishings, room layout, and pool area. The covered outdoor area was nice to have, and the large kitchen was fun. Many of the amenities are cheap, and several are broken. The blender was broken. Two of four chaise lounges were broken. The kitchen knives wouldn't cut. There weren't enough trash bags or paper towels for a 3-night stay. The ice maker didn't make ice. The outdoor trash cans weren't secured in place, so they blew into the pool (along with the trash) twice on windy days. The pool toys were mostly broken, faded, deflated, or filthy. The outdoor grill was obviously a cheap one, and it was way too small to cook a normal meal. The sliding glass doors are hard to operate, and the one in the master bedroom came off its tracks so we had to fix it. The pool guy came into the backyard (unannounced) mid-day one day and put the hose into the pool, but he never removed it or finished cleaning up. We stopped by the office one day last month to make final arrangements and sign paperwork. Everyone was great and very helpful, so we were certain the rental house would be a hit. "

"The home as a great outside area, with wonderful kitchen and dining. There was no hot water in hall bathroom! there was an ant problem in bedrooms and bathrooms. They were in our bags at one point. Okay House, Didn't Like Neighborhood

"The house was okay, nothing spectacular. The house is in the outskirts of the city with a lot of vacant houses nearby. Additionally the upgrades in the house were done poorly, with rather outdated bathrooms. Decor was okay, could tell it was done on a tight budget. Our ideas for improving? Redo the bathrooms, and spend the extra money to have the house decor cleaned up. There were exposed wires from the TV, and sloppy paint job. The pool/outdoor area was well done. "

"We loved the open airy design and the decor. The house was well-appointed and everything was easy to use. Quiet, great style and well-appointed. The pool appeared murky. Kids were initially reluctant to go in. Spoke with property managers however and they assured me it was clean - and it was. It just needs re-plastering. Owner has been notified of this issue.
