This Palm Springs house, hidden behind large trees & electronic gates, ensure the utmost in privacy and is truly a place to relax and unwind.

This famous home was once owned by Andy of Amos and Andy, stars to one of the funniest & most beloved TV & Radio shows of all times. Their original photos still grace the walls of this home.

This beautiful Palm Springs home rental is conveniently located in the heart of Palm Springs, just 2 minutes from downtown by car to all the great restaurants, shopping, art galleries, antique stores, mid-century modern shops, theatres, & supermarkets.

The house sleeps 8 comfortably as well as an extra 2 co-sleepers for children. This large privately owned vacation home is brand new to the rental market (as of Winter 2007) and has been completely refurnished with new beds, linens, towels and furniture to make for a very comfortable stay.

The house is very spacious and has a flowing open floor plan with large beamed ceilings and a striking stone fireplace.

From the living room, a wall of French doors opens onto the patio which gives you that indoor outdoor feel. The beautiful covered patio which frames the front of the home has plenty of seating areas perfect for breakfast or afternoon cocktails and is ideal for early evening entertaining or to just look out at the beautiful surroundings or to just sit and listen to the trickles of the nearby fountain.

The dining room has a Spanish rustic feel to it and can seat up to 10 guests. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need to enjoy your stay including a Viking Oven and stainless steel appliances. The original old world rustic chandeliers and lanterns add to the charm of the house.

There are 3 bedrooms in the main house, 2 of which are en-suit. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable.

There are 2 king size beds and 2 single beds in the main house, all rooms have 26" Flat Screen LCD/DVD Combo TVs.

A charming Casita is separated from the main house by a flag stone patio and has its own private entrance off the pool deck. It can comfortably sleeps two guests on a brand new trundle bed which can either be used as 2 singles or a king bed. It includes a separate bathroom with an extra-large shower, huge walk-in closet, and kitchenette with a fridge, sink and microwave. The casita is also equipped with a 42 inch Flat Panel LCD TV for those who want to enjoy the pool while keeping an eye on that special sporting event.

The pool area is great for lounging and soaking up the sun. There are plenty of pool floats and comfortable poolside furniture for your enjoyment. Also enjoy our newly installed state of the art Jacuzzi with a lighting and sound system, great fun for all ages.

Other fun features at the pool area are an outdoor shower, a very comfortable hammock and a gas barbeque for outdoor entertaining.

The outdoor dining area has a large teak dining table with seating for 12-15 people. In addition, there is a large roof-top deck, located over the 2-car garage, with stunning views of the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains, and is ideal for sunbathing or just relaxing and enjoying the stunning desert sunsets.

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. There are 2 portable pack and play cribs, 2 booster seats, swing, water toys, little table and chairs and toys to make your stay and theirs a little more comfortable. Also the expansive front lawn provides plenty of room for children to run and play.

Palm Spring is world famous as one of the most popular golf and vacation destinations in the USA! In fact, the Palm Springs Desert Resorts area is known as the -golf capital of the world,- featuring more than 125 unique Palm Springs area golf courses, great weather and natural beauty adding to its popularity as a world class golf resort & vacation location. Another popular local attraction is the Palm Springs Ariel Tramway which is approximately 2 miles from the home or get renewed and revitalized at one of the many area day spa resorts which provide a myriad of treatments and classes.

Great Palm Springs Family Getaway

"My only complaint would be the lack of pots and pans for cooking. If I rented this house again I would bring a couple of them along with me. We like the ease of access to the property. We enjoyed the house with multiple patios, great location and privacy. We have rented 3 times from Vacation Palm Springs and enjoyed each house. We had good service from the reservation team, reponded to a couple of questions quickly. "

Beautiful Hideaway

"I felt there was too much chlorine in the hot tub, and maybe the pool as well. Our skin got very dry. I loved the flow of the house and how open it was to the outdoors, yet still covered from the sun. The front porch looks onto a sweet, private yard. The rooms were great. The grapefruit was delicious. "

A Little "too Vintage" for Our Tastes

"It is a nice lot, and surprisingly quiet for being so close to Ramon Rd. But I'd rather rent an thoroughly modernized house next time. We did like the wrap around yard that we sat out front and back, depending on time of day. The yard front and back very private and beautiful. The home itself, while attractive, is quite old with very out of date windows and wiring. I think the home is too dark and dim. It is not modernized. The personel answered my calls and questions promptly. Everyone was consistently polite. "

Spanish Style Seclusion!

"There is no way to choose which was better, the pool and expansive grounds or the amazing 30' style home itself. This house is perfect for kid and adults, so much space, so private! It was like Spain in the springs. The old-world charm is felt in every room of the house including the grand dining room that overlooks the pool area and is equip to sit 12 very comfortably. The pool gets the perfect amount of shade and sun from early morning until the sun goes down and for quieter moments there is a small orchard(ish) side of the house for reading and cocktail hour. The home was more than we were expecting and we would do it all over again without a doubt. The pool light burned out a few days in, other than that one tiny thing... nothing to suggest to make the home better, it was perfect. "
