Perfect Palm Springs Get Away

Wonderful House

"This house has everything! It is very comfortable and easy to live in. The main room is huge and a wonderful space in which to relax. All the bedroom suites are excellent. The master suite is enormous with a very useful walk through wardrobe. The bed has terrific mountain views which change colour in the morning as the sun comes up over the other side of the house - spectacular to watch. The kitchen is easy to use and supplied with everything one needs. The property is very private and quiet with lots of places to sit and relax. The pool is very warm and inviting. We mainly used the back porch area as it is very shady and we had way above average temperatures for our first 3 weeks in the house. Very relaxing - ceiling fans added to our comfort. The cinema is great fun - and easy to use with clear instructions. We stayed a month and joined Palm Springs library for $10 for the month - very good value! You can borrow up to 5 DVDs at any time for up to a week for no extra cost - plus the books and free 1 hour computer use. So made good use of the cinema! It would be difficult to find a better property. It would be good to be able to walk all round the property on the outside - so a key to the side gate would be appreciated. The plants by the pool are very spiky so it's quite dangerous to walk down that one side of the pool if you need to get any leaves out of the water. Getting off the driveway is hazardous due to the privacy hedges - you can't see into the road at all, although it is not a very busy street. Good service as usual from reservations and property managers. We only had one problem with the house - a/c panel, which was quickly sorted even on a Sunday. Thank you. "

This is the Best Vacation Rental Ever!!

"This home was perfect! Every last detail was thought through on this property. It was beyond immaculate when we arrived and the kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had in a rental (and we have rented many properties around the world). The soap dispensers in the bathrooms were fantastic and all freshly filled. The sunken bar was very cool and a great place to enjoy a before dinner cocktail and the movie theatre was so much fun! Our kids loved it! The pool is huge and CLEAN. The bedrooms are all very spacious and well appointed. Really a gorgeous property in a lovely conveniently located neighborhood.We would absolutely stay here again and would definitely rent from this same company again. They manage the properties beautifully. LOVED IT!!!!!! My husband was helped by Sergio and he was fantastic in helping us find the property that was right for us. "

Large Deepwell Home

"Very nicely maintained home. The pool was large but there isn't a lot of area around it for chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in with nice appliances. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious with high end finishes. We especially loved the movie theater. It was used often. Some extra blankets or throws would be great. As always the reservation team was excellent. Nate checked in on us to make sure everything was good. We have always had great service here. I always recommend Vacation Palm Springs. "

Holiday Luxury

"This property did not disappoint. It was spacious andcomfortable with high spec. furnishings. With three ensuite bedrooms, it was perfect for our party. Around the property were various seating areas but only two loungers. As the property houses 6 people, 6 loungers to accomodate everyone would have been great. We kept swapping seats all the time. ( Thank you for bringing this to our attention, due to the limited space around the pool, there isn't any more room for chaise lounges, although there is plenty of other seating in the back area and under the covered patio) We met Chris, the property manager, and he dealt with our request promptly. This was the third time we had booked through Vacation Palm Springs and each time the booking was dealt with efficiently. The staff we met have been friendly and very helpful and we would use the agency again. "

"Nice interior space and pool. Good separation of bedrooms. There should be King beds in at least 1 room - at least 2 are large enough to support that. The floor in the master shower is slick and should be treated for safety. "

Last Minute? No Problem

"We took advantage of a 'special, special' offer on the home we rented. A little large than we possibly needed, only me and the missus...kids at home, but with a nice sized swimming pool and its own cinema room we couldn't resist. It was ideally placed for a walk into the centre of Palm Springs (1.5 miles) so we managed to stroll in and take advantage of the cocktail happy hour along the main highway. We will return to the home with our full family in tow. We have been coming to Palm Springs for around 8 years now and have always used Vacation Palm Springs as our agents. Comming from the UK the holiday in August is our main summer holiday but co-insides with your low season. As a concequence the time at which we want to book, around January (best for flights) and your 'special' offers (issued July or August) don't coincide. It would be better if you could confirm your rates for the summer earlier to allow people outside of the US to gain the best prices for the homes. We contacted the reservation team literally the day before we planned to travelfrom the UK. They were very helpful in identifying the homes that were available to us and more than happy to allow us to turn up at their offices on the day of arrival to complete the paperwork. Very relaxed but very efficient. "

"The beds were comfortable, the pool was great and the kitchen was stocked with the necessary items & BBQ was AWESOME! Oh, movie theatre was such a treat! It needs a sound system throughout house. Or at least one in the main room where wet bar is located. Bedroom music would be a nice perk as well. "

Vacation in an Oasis

"I loved all the different seating areas (inside and outside). I loved the temperature of the pool. I liked the privacy of the front yard. The home was clean. We mostly loved it but we do have a couple of suggestions. A King size bed in the master bedroom would be nice. The day we arrived the cleaning was not ready by 3:00. The lady was very friendly and very nice but it would have been nice to arrive with everything complete. Our biggest suggestion is about the garden and pool maintenance. We would have appreciated knowing that they would be coming during our stay. It is great to have the upkeep of the property but we were taken by surprise to come home one afternoon and the gardeners were there and the next day we were in the pool when all of a sudden from around the side of the house a man arrives. We quickly realized he was there for the pool but prior warning of this would be appreciated. We booked online, but when my husband phoned the agency the day before we arrived we were assured everything was fine for our visit. It seemed to me like he was speaking with a friendly person who was not bothered by the phone call. "

"The house was excellent - spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were very pleased with the house. It was well equipped and well located. Most things were very good. The BBQ was excellent, but BBQ utensils are required - especially a grill brush/scraper. Service was excellent - easy to book, helpful on-line assistance and quick responses. "

We Liked Everything

"We liked everything! The open spaces, the theater and bar, the warmth of the pool. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the quaint spaces outside to relax. Too many to list :) The place has everything you need for a peaceful stay. No suggestions for improvement :) There were some minor maintenance items: When you open the fridge, "vaccum condenser warning" flashes. We couldn't get the gas fireplace to light but it might have been our own fault :) Justin and Nate were very responsive. Any question I had was quickly addressed. Very easy to work with. "
