Golf Getaway 2010

"The rental accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well located in a quiet neighborhood with a great mountain view and golf course backdrop. The open living area design provided for a very relaxing atmosphere after a hard day on the course. The beds were extremely comfortable which made getting up at 5:30am all the more difficult! The kitchen included all the gadgets required for meal preparations and the outdoor grill complimented the experience. Although "high speed wireless internet" service was advertised, no such access was available. The lack of a modem was definitely the source of the wireless problem and the DSL router apparently had no internet service link - this was a major pain and presented an ongoing inconvenience with online golf booking and daily work related issues both of which were remedied utilizing the services of a local wireless internet cafe. A few other minor issues included insufficient hot water in the master bath shower, a stuck float valve in the toilet located in the two bedroom bathroom and a broken bathroom fan. "

Palm Springs December 2009 Vacation

"We were the first to rent the home. There were a few issues that would have been fixed had we not been the first to rent it. The main issue was no internet access although the ad for it said WiFi. There was a DSL modem but it was not WiFi, and the DSL never worked while we were there. The best feature of the home is the pool. The next best feature was the fact that the beds are very comfortable. The reservation team was great. We called the property manager to fix a toilet that ran and they responded quickly. They were not able to get us internet access during our stay. The vacation would have been better for our family if the Internet WiFI had been present like it was advertised. I had to run out each day to check my business status. The next thing would have been modern technology. The TV in the living room is old technology non-HDTV. None of the bedrooms had a TV so this presented problems if one wanted to watch a football game, and our daughter wanted to watch something else. "
