Palm Desert Aquatic Center is a beautiful resort-like swimming pool - the best and biggest and most upscale pool in the entire Palm Desert and Palm Springs area.
Located in the Palm Desert City Civic Center and park area, this huge pool was newly-built and brand new in June 2011.
The Palm Desert public pool is like a combination of a family-friendly water park resort with slides, tunnels, fountains, diving boards, special pools for kids/children, plus great lap lanes for lap swimming.
This Palm Desert poolis the largest and most beautifully maintained of any public pool of any city in the Desert area.
In addition to four diving boards, high dives as well as low diving boards, there are separate pools for children, designated water-park attractions and features in separate areas for kids to enjoy.
With lounge chairs and umbrellas available poolside, as well as a grassy lawn for tanning or picnics, this huge pool and water park is a perfect low-cost activity and family friendly attraction to enjoy the Geater Palm Springs oasis year round reliable sunshine.

The Palm Desert Aquatic Center has a snack bar, open during normal aquatic center hours, serving refreshments and snacks.
The Palm Desert Aquatic Center opened in June of 2011 near Palm Desert Civic Center Center Park, just a few miles east of Palm Springs, Ca.
The $8 million center is operated by the YMCA of the Desert which offers, recreational swim, lap swim, youth and adult swim lesson, and more.
Parking for the Palm Desert aquatic center has been integrated into the existing date garden providing shade and lovely scenery.
